About

I completed a Bachelor of Human Movement in 2014 before doing my Honours in 2015, looking at the relationship between movement competency and performance in Australian rules football. I then studied for a PhD in Australian rules football monitoring neuromuscular fatigue, which I completed in 2019. I have also completed a diploma in Applied Sports and Exercise Nutrition, and I am an ASCA Level 2 coach and an ESSA Accredited Exercise Scientist & Level 2 Sports Scientist.

Professionally, I worked at Port Adelaide Football Club in the AFL for 4.5 years, completing roles as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, Sport Scientist and Head of Academy Performance. I then moved to the UK for a working holiday and worked in corporate fitness at EXOS which had the contract to run the gym at Google's Headquarters in London. My current role is Lecturing in Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology courses at ACU, with research areas of focus in athlete monitoring, rehabilitation and improving strength and performance in all populations.

In my spare time, I am a golf enthusiast on the quest to get to scratch. I also love travelling and enjoy spending my holiday exploring the world.
